Since WPT uses radiation for charging, if there is any metallic object in between the charger facility and vehicle, the temperature could rise while charging which may lead to a hazardous situation. For safety precautions, the charger should not energize if it detects any foreign objects in between the GA and VA. To test above condition, Chroma offers a FOD test fixture to place the object at different positions and verify the charger’s behavior. These positons are documented so that the test results can be recreated. |

WPT Power Test Software
Chroma’s software lets users adjust the parameters of the source/load equipment and positioning table for efficient testing. During the test, the interface displays test data and 2D/3D graphs in real time. After completion, it auto generates the test report and includes data and graphs for easy analysis.
